Adventures of Gardening With No Garden

This past weekend Alex and I decided to update our backyard. We have limited space and horrible soil, so having a “garden” is nearly impossible. Using leftover wood, Alex built a shelf and attached it to the fence. We plan to fill this shelf with various pots, plants, and herbs.

While all of that was going on, I spray painted old wall sconces and turn them into plant ledges. Since the spray paint was already out, I touched up a hanging planter I found at a thrift store. 5

I decided to hang the planter in the tree in hopes that eventually the tree will just grow around the ropes.

There are still many ideas in the works, but I feel pretty good about the improvements.
