My Four Go-To Styles

You know I love changing my hair up as much as my stylist, husband, and bank account will allow. Since my last hair post, I dyed it light pink, had an incident (putting it mildly) with a new stylist and had to cut some off, and most recently settled with some ombre and bangs. I feel like I’m finally getting somewhere with the length and can style it again so here are my current faves:

1. Mini Top Knot: I like to wear this right after washing. I always spray dry shampoo into my hair (even if it’s clean) to give it some texture to work with. I pull the hair on my crown up, twist, and pin.DSC_3311DSC_3320DSC_3310 DSC_3315DSC_3318

2. Bobbi Pin: If you don’t have fancy Ban.do bobbi pins, you can paint your regular ones with any nail polish so they stand out in your hair. There are so many variations to this style and each one makes you want to do the “Yay Girl” emoji.

3. Blown Back: This is a good option for those days you don’t wash your hair. Per usual I dry shampoo the mess out of it, then backcomb the top and brush the sides behind my ears. EASY!DSC_3335DSC_3334 DSC_3337 DSC_3347

4. Beach Waves: This is probably my favorite because I can wear it multiple days in a row and the messier the better. This is another style that requires some texture so you need dirty hair, the magical dry shampoo, and a teasing comb. I like to curl some pieces using a straightener and some using a curling iron and scrunch it with Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray.

I gotta keep changing up this mane so I can fight the pixie cut urge!
