Margarita Approved Lipstick

I haven’t written a beauty post in over a year, so I’m excited to come back with a really fun one featuring my friends product: Lip Sense. I’m sure most of you have heard about it, but if not, it is lip color that has some serious staying power!

My friend Katherine began selling Lip Sense recently and I am not going to lie, at first I was a little skeptical. I have tried lip stains and other products that are labeled “long lasting” and end the night with pink teeth. After one too many ruined napkins, I watched a couple of her videos and decided to at least give it a try.

At first the color made my lips tingle [has something to do with wax and ph from other products on your lips] but it went on easy. The kit comes with an “oops” stick to remove any mistakes [just incase]. I chose Bella and First Love because I wanted to try a dramatic and natural matte look.

Wanting to be thorough, I tested the lip color on the following things:

  • My baby’s cheeks
  • Puppy kisses
  • Margarita glass
  • Floatin in the pool
  • Fell asleep with makeup on, woke up next morning and we’re good
  • Hangry pizza dinner
  • Chasing puppy down beach

My lip color stayed in place through all of it. Actually, my only “con” with LipSense is getting it off. I’m sure Katherine could tell me the right way, but the lazy girl way is to wait until next morning and rub your lips like crazy with a washcloth.

Let me know if you have any questions about the product! I’m wearing First Love [Local Girls pic] and Bella [blue bow pic]. If you’re interested in trying out Lip Sense, check out my girl Katherine’s Facebook Group.
