If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed a change in my feed… as in I removed everything. I received a couple “holy crap” messages and messages of concern [who the hell deletes two years worth of memories] so I wanted to explain.
I started using Instagram as a way document my life [donut pictures, grainy photos of my babies, etc.] then my focused changed to connecting it with my blog. Brands started reaching out and I began collaborating, which requires posting on all platforms.
Recently I posted a photo that received some negative reviews and had me crying in my closet for three hours. Although it was mildly traumatizing, this lemon of an event changed my perspective. This lemon has inspired me creatively. It has helped me think about what I want to post and how to create a collection of images in the most beautiful simplistic way possible.
So thank you lemon. You have taught me a couple things:
- The comeback is always stronger than the setback.
- Never have enough time in your life to create a fake accounts.
If you aren’t following me on Instagram start. I plan on aligning the blog with my feed so it will be one beautiful mixture of images and content.
Grab a glass of Lemonade and enjoy.
